Mercerizado Cotton Sewing Thread
Description
Extra long fibre Pima cotton sewing threads, composed of 2 or 3 twisted plies, specially designed for the sewing of mercerized cotton fabrics, mainly white or natural coloured. During the production process, the cotton is combed and later the thread is gassed and mercerized in order to obtain a high resistance as well as a soft touch and a shiny finish. These threads come in four widths: Mercerizado 20, Mercerizado 30, Mercerizado 40 and Mercerizado 50; each one designed for different fabric weights.
